The keys to whole-office communication are trustworthiness and glanceability, which need to be achieved without compromising computer screen "real estate." The BlueNote Communicator Lights' GoFocus feature pins itself to the left or right side of a PC desktop screen. This light strip is always visible as it shifts the Windows desktop over slightly, and appears alongside the display's primary function, so that patient records, accounting, imaging, or scheduling are not obstructed in any manner. The effect of the GoFocus feature is that the communication application appears fully integrated into the Windows PC environment. As people move from station to station within the office, the GoFocus notification strip remains fixed, reliable, and accurate.
Quickly scan all details
When the GoFocus light strip is used passively, only a small amount of information is needed once users have become acclimated understanding visual notifications based on color or aging. By actively hovering over the GoFocus bar or clicking the GoFocus icon in the BlueNoteGo bar, all relevant data is then visible to the user. This is especially helpful in situations where a provider is queued up to visit multiple locations in the office in a specific order, or to optimize responses based on the information displayed.
