What’s changed with the release of BlueNote Status 2.0

Yesterday’s release of BlueNote Status 2.0 means that we can now take a quick breath after six months of fine-tuning and tweaking to get it just right.
The new version for intra-office communications feels just a little bit more broken-in, like your favorite pair of leather shoes. We think you’ll like these enhancements:
- You now have an official Inbox instead of a Message tab, and the interface for typed messaging has been simplified..
- Snippets are now chosen from a drop-down list that can be shared throughout the software, not just in messaging.
- When you click on a location to send an alert or message, more of your options are right there instead of having to remember what type of click to make.
- Group Messaging works better, and you can now even send a Doorbell to a group instead of just to One or just to All.
- Did you need more than three pre-programmed Status buttons? We thought so, you might like nine instead.
- If you want to make all statuses at each computer in your practice the same, you can now do that. Also each Shared Status can be given a unique tone to separate it out of general Statuses, so that tones are universally understood throughout the office.
- If a location has been placed in Do Not Disturb mode (DND), that location’s name will appear in red on the Status Board so that you know why Dr. Busy isn’t responding to your alerts.
Many other small improvements can be found all throughout the software, so if you liked Status before you’ll say to yourself “Nom Nom, tastes better with bacon.” Take a deep breath with us and enjoy the yummy aroma of Status 2.0.
And then slowly exhale. Yay! It’s ready for munching. You can get a peek of the new interface here on the Features page.
